Well-known Island artist Peggy Turner Zablotny will gather and press flowers and plant material from the successful bidder's garden or land on Martha's Vineyard in August-September 2005, to create an original composition that will be produced in a limited edition of ten archival giclée prints. The winner receives the actual collage and print #1 of the edition. The artist will show the work in her tenth anniversary exhibition at the Field Gallery in West Tisbury, Massachusetts, in 2006. If the winning bidder does not have access to a garden or land on Martha's Vineyard, Peggy will consult with the winner to choose a selection of plants from another appropriate location.
