Back by popular demand - join seventh-grader Brian Banta and his dad, Gary, for an afternoon at their home shop. You and your child, age 11 or above, will learn to weld and cut ferrous metals. Cutting skills will be developed using an OxyAcetylene torch. Learn to weld using the TIG (Tungsten-Inert-Gas) welding process - the most advanced and cleanest welding process. You will be taught safety procedures, surface preparation, equipment adjustments and resources for further learning.
