The winemaker adds: The 1993 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has an aroma of black cherry jam that virtually bursts from this garnet colored wine. Cassis, black cherry, chocolate and cloves complete the nose. The palate is rich, full and balanced, with smooth tannins and a long, fruity finish. This wine is showing beautifully now and will easily drink well until 2011.
