Description
A beautiful three and a half room modern log cabin with a front porch built in 2000 on 80 acre property. The cabin is located at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains at the Northern end of the San Luis Valley. Nestled in the quaking aspens, where the deer and the elk are behind you in the wooded mountains, and with a fantastic panoramic view of the valley floor in to the east. Walk out the door and easily connect with a good hiking trail up into the mountains behind the cabin. Orient Land Trust - Valley View Hot Springs is less than 2 miles away. The cabin has two bedrooms. One with four bunk beds and the other with a single full sized bed. The cabin is solar power with electric lights and refrigerator. It is heated with a wood burning stove and propane for cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The cabin has a bathroom with a flush toilet and plenty of hot water for showers!
