Description

Many people travel to
Hollywood to try their luck at fame and fortune. Only a few of them are able to reach "star status". For Golden Globe winner and actress, Josette Banzet, Hollywood is like her backyard. Frequently rubbing elbows with top people in "the business", the beautiful Ms. Banzet (mother to ISTP parent, Danielle Spandau and grandmother to ISTP student, Simone) made a splash on the big screen with the 1977 movie, The Other Side of Midnight, co-starring Susan Sarandon. Ms. Banzet earned top honors for Best Supporting Actress in Television at the famed Golden Globe awards with her portryal of French teacher, "Miss Lenaut" alongside Ed Asner, Peter Strauss and Nick Nolte in the World War II epic, Rich Man, Poor Man.

Now you can own a piece of Hollywood history ~ a gorgeous one-of-a-kind dress worn by Ms. Banzet at the 1977 Golden Globe Awards! This size 6 white, tailor-made, carefully-preserved gown has only been worn once before this evening (at the '77 Golden Globes!). ISTP is proud and honored to have Ms. Banzet here with us tonight, modeling her glamorous dress for our guests.
