Description

A one-hour flight with astronaut Charles (Sam)Gemar in a vintage 1942 Stearman bi-plane. Sam Gemar is a veteran of three missions in space, with over 500 space-flight hours logged. He served as a mission specialist on STS-38 (Atlantis), STS-48 (Discovery), and STS-62 (Columbia).

Special Instructions

This flight will originate and terminate out of 1K1, Lloyd Stearman Field, Benton, KS (10 miles east of Wichita). Winning bidder to provide own transportation to and from site. (Interested bidders may want to bid on the America West Airlines round trip ticket also listed in the auction catalog!) Schedule by mutual agreement during flying season (typically 1 March to 1 November), and must be claimed by September 30, 2007.
