This photo depicts Jeter making his famous "dive" in the 12th inning of a 2004 game against the Boston Red Sox in which Jeter ran for the ball and made a running catch, that would eventually send him into the stands headfirst. Jeter would hold on to the ball, but found himself bruised and bloodied when he stood up. Jeter, one of the most popular New York Yankees ever, has already won awards as World Series MVP and All Star MVP (both in 2000). His highlight-reel of a career has produced numerous memorable plays, one even earning him the nickname "Mr. November."
