Description
The Chicago Tribune commissioned several Tower crowns to be built to serve as table centerpieces at the recent Clayton Kirkpatrick tribute event. The crowns are black and white with a red, white and blue flag waving above the Tower. The 20" tall, 6 3/8" wide replicas of the top of the Tower were inspired by the miniature paper puzzle postcard that was designed by artist Matt Bergstrom and are distributed throughout Chicago. An artist at the Columbia College Center for Paper and Book Arts constructed the Towers, which are made of sturdy card-board and strong glue which binds the pieces together.
