This intricate etching by Mark Nelson details the many layers of living in Chicago, from the park and local neighborhoods, to the Sears Tower and constant air traffic. Nelson's body of work is known for its insight into the political, cultural, and class divisions within the lands he depicts.

Special Instructions

Mark Nelson has a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Nelson currently owns "Gringolandia Studio" in Chicago's historic Pilsen Neighborhood and teaches at the Stone Academy in Chicago, IL. Nelson's work has been exhibited throughout the Chicagoland area in such venues as the Chicago Cultural Center, McCormick Center, and the Vietynam Veterans Art Museum.
