Artist Karen Ami says she creates art to illustrate her perception of life, using color, texture, and light. Like her other well-known mosaics, this breathtaking piece is constructed from a combination of Italian and Mexican glass tiles (specifically smalti), stained and metallic art glasses, and hand sculpted, glazed ceramic tile.
