CHARLIE HALL Although better known as the creative force behind Ocean State Follies, Charlie is a RISD grad whose work is often seen on television in the form of courtroom sketches for notable trials. His editorial cartoons appear in all area newspapers including the 2005 Edition of the Best Cartoons of 2005. He is also the publisher of two books the last one a cartoon book on life in RI called HOT SKETCH. HOT SKETCH 2 is coming in the Fall of 2005. He is doing a painting of Providence- all in a palette knife- just for this auction. The work is in progress as shown here. (Approx. 24" by 18")
