Ever wondered what goes on behind the cameras during a newscast? What are those anchors talking about when the microphones are turned off? Here's your chance to find out. Get a behind-the-scenes tour of WLBZ NEWS CENTER 2 during the 5pm and 6pm newscasts. Tour guide and UMaine alumnus (and, oh yeah, Meteorologist) Steve McKay '04 will give up to four people an opportunity to watch the newscast from both the studio and the Production Control Room. Following the newscast, Steve will take you to the WEATHER CENTER to discover how he puts together his daily forecast.
