Description

This pencil drawing recalls a piece of history. The face of Huey Newton, co-founder and leader of the Black Panther movement for over two decades, watches as a young girl writes her dreams of freedom and self-determination on the sidewalk. Note the panther leaping over Newton's shoulder.
The drawing is matted and professionally framed. The artist, Wayne Curtis, is a well known Detroit artist.

This is a Live Event Item.
