Description
Publish your students' stories as professionally produced keepsake books. This kit includes manuscript pages for making 10 stories, plus our Instructor's Publishing Guide, Family Brochures and Order Forms, a $13.00 Publishing Certificate and a prepaid FedEx shipping label to send manuscripts to us for publishing. Students write their stories on the lines provided on the story pages and draw illustrations on each page. The teacher bundles all student manuscripts to ship to us for typesetting, copying and binding. Books can be made as Hardback, Soft-Cover, Paperback or all three. The $13.00 publishing certificate can be used toward any of the publishing costs - it is the value of 1 finished 12 story page Hardback book. Publishing for the other 9 stories will be due upon submission. A minimum of 10 finished manuscripts must be submitted at the same time for publishing.
Special Instructions
All our books include professional typesetting by our company and allow for up to 20 words per page. If, however, students wish to write more text, they can choose to either handwrite or type their own manuscripts, in which case there is no limit to the number of words. We offer 2 lengths of books: 12 story pages or up to 18 story pages. In addition to the story pages, we will add a Title, Dedication, The End and About the Author Page to each book. Option to add the author's color photo to their About the Author Page is available for a one-time charge of $2.00. Extra copies can be made in any of the three styles. Manuscript archival service available. Illustrations should be created using markers -- any markers may be used, but water based are preferred.
