You and two friends can enjoy an afternoon of golf with our own Joe Haggerty as you tee off at the beautiful Mt. Vernon Country Club! The course boasts excellent golfing facilities with its 18-hole championship golf course established in 1961, which challenges golfers at every skill level. The course winds through the original forest of George Washington's Mount Vernon plantation and is enhanced by the presence of Dogue Creek, a Potomac/Chesapeake tidal tributary which lends a water hazard challenge on 14 of Mount Vernon's 18 holes! Continuing course improvements include the beautification of Mount Vernon's most outstanding course design characteristic, its mature tree population, with varieties and sizes that will maintain the challenge that makes the course unique in Northern Virginia. The event includes a round of golf, lunch and golf carts and all the pleasures of a wonderful day.
