Description

In 1988, Canada played host to the 17th Winter Olympic Games in Calgary. To pay tribute to the Games, the Royal Canadian Mint issued a series of $20 silver coins.

The series was released from 1985 to 1987 and features 10 different, one-year-only designs -- two in 1985, and four each in 1986 and 1987. Each coin is actually larger than a traditional U.S. silver dollar and contains more silver! Some of the finest Proof coins ever minted, each comes in its own individual capsule.

Displayed in a green velvet display box with the original paperwork and packaging from the Royal Canadian Mint.

This is a Live Event Item.
