The TRUMPF TSC 1 slat cleaner is a portable power tool designed to quickly remove the slag from the slats of laser cutting machines. The tool is self-propelled and automatically adjusts for different slat or slag thickness. Capable of clearing a standard size pallet in approximately 20 minutes, the TSC 1 slat cleaner is a more efficient way to clean slats when compared to manual removal or slat replacement. It can be used on flatbed laser cutting machines with pallet changers, enabling the user to quickly clean pallets without disrupting production. The TSC 1 slat cleaner also straightens spikes as it cleans the slats. As a result, slag can be removed 4 or 5 times before the slats need to be replaced.
