Description

The latest in metal cutting from The M. K. Morse Company, the CSM14B is a 14" chop saw with dry cutting technology. Equipped with a durable and fast cutting Metal Devil® 14" carbide tipped blade, the saw produces a virtual spark free and burr free result. Heat is transfered to the chips, not your work piece so you can cut and get to work. No waiting for the metal to cool, no gloves to protect you from the heat.

The powerful low-speed, high-torque motor is optimized for metal cutting at 15 amps and 1,300 RPM for quick, clean cuts. The heavy duty steel base provides stability with pre-drilled holes for easy bolt down to any work bench. With six pre-set markings in the base, the vise is quick and easy to set for 45° or 90° cuts. A large cutting capacity (5-1/8" diameter pipe and 3-3/4" rectangular) allows a wide variety of materials to be cut. Additional features include chip collection tray, built in carrying handle, adjustable chip deflector, on/off trigger switch on handle and a fully enclosed blade when not engaged in cutting.

Each 14" saw comes equipped with a 14" 72 tooth steel cutting carbide tipped Metal Devil blade for a lower cost-per-cut compared to cutting with other metal cutting tools. Test results showed that one Metal Devil circular saw blade lasts 17 times longer than an abrasive wheel cutting angle iron. Your time is spent getting the job done, not on buying new blades and change overs.
