1796 Ron Antiguo de Solera
Launched in 1996 to celebrate the 200th aniversary of Hacienda Santa Teresa (Venezuela's leading Rum manufacturer.
It has been listed as the best aged (añejo) super premium rum two years in a row and has won the Gold Medal of the Chicago Beverage Tasting Institute. It is the only super premium aged rum in the world, which is aged using the traditional solera method.
Masters of rum say that 1976 is ideal straight, on the rocks, or with ice and perrier water.
