Description

Have a 3D model made of yourself in plastic or wood. A student from the Art & Architecture school will make a model through milling wood or a plastic printer.
1. Bidder comes in to A&A to take a scan. It's actually a camera, but
instead of recording 2D information, it records 3D info. It's really like taking a picture, except one would have to sit still for 3 seconds. All I need is 4 to 5 scans of the person's face taken at
different angles. 15 min.
2. I piece together the scans and organize the info to make it ready for either the mill or 3D printer. 2-5 hours.
3. The machines take over and mills or prints the thing--I just have to monitor the machine. 24 hours.
4. Piece is ready for pick-up.

This is a Live Event Item.

Special Instructions

The finished product should measure approx. 6"x6"x3" if it's in
plastic, or 16"x12"x3" if it's in wood.
