Description
What do national columnist Liz Smith, Robert Morgenthau, New York's legendary District Attorney, and Dr. Ruth Westheimer have in common?
All three have joined The New York Times and Newsweek in praising Dr. Jud Newborn for his remarkable accomplishments - including his new book on the White Rose anti-Nazi resistance group, his work as co-creator of New York's Holocaust museum, and the impact he has made through his extensive public lecturing career.
1) Join "Dr. Jud" for an exquisite Afghani/Middle Eastern dinner amid the sumptuous ethnic decor of Huntington's ARIANA RESTAURANT - and he'll regale you with his exploits: hunting down SS officers and Nazis to interview, spying for Poland's Solidarity Freedom Movement 6 months into Communist martial rule, speaking out against genocide at the United Nations, sleuthing for artifacts, and more.
2) Jud will also personally inscribe a copy of his new book for you, "SOPHIE SCHOLL AND THE WHITE ROSE," which tells the full story behind the recent Oscar-nominated German film, "SOPHIE SCHOLL: THE FINAL DAYS."
3) To end your unique experience with a flourish, Dr. Newborn will give you a BEAUTIFUL ENAMELED WHITE ROSE LAPEL PIN to wear proudly - as a symbol of "speaking truth to power" - and as an additional souvenir of the fascinating evening you've spent together.
