Description

French wine. This single vineyard of 12.5 acres, on the outskirts of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, produces an average of 30,000 bottles per vintage. The property belongs to the Trocard family, well-known Pomerol and Saint-Emilion winemakers whose knowledge of wine-making has been passed on from father to son since the XVI Century. Chateau Trocard is continuously awarded with more medals and trophies in International competitions.

Intense color and aromas of plums with hints of tobacco and mocha. Firm and elegant structure giving way to a lingering, bold, ripe red fruit finish. Pairs well with charcuterie (ham, salami, pates), chicken, duck and cheese. Serve at room temperature, 65°F.
