Jessica Chaves' background in art blossomed with classes at the Brooklyn Museum, Riverside Church (NYC), and the Church Street Center. A She has studied pottery, quilting, weaving, pastels, drawing, and watercolors. Her work has been displayed in student shows, solos at the Vermont State House, and other locations around Vermont. When not creating art, Ms. Chaves is an editor for Legislative Council at the Vermont State House.
