Artist Statement: I work with oil in the classical style, from life to north light. Fundamental to my work are strong drawing skills, which I have developed through years of drawing the figure and my children. As a painter of still lifes, I see beauty in all God's creations. Man made objects have common universal quality and objects from hands of fellow artisans have a strong presence in my work.


Julie Baker Albright is a 6th generation Vermonter with a BA from UVM. Her award winning paintings have been exhibited in over 40 Juried Exhibitions across the country. Locally, she is represented by the Blue Heron Gallery.
