Rick Comley is in his third season behind the Michigan State bench. Comley was named the Spartans' head coach in 2002, and became just the fifth head coach in MSU hockey history. He is one of just seven coaches to reach the 600-win plateau, a feat he accomplished on Oct. 24, 2002, when the Spartans beat Lake Superior State, 7-0, at Munn Ice Arena.
