Description
This cabernet sauvignon reserve was crafted using artisanal winemaking
techniques such as open-top
fermentations, gentle punchdowns,
and the use of a small basket press. The result is a wine of concentration and depth. This wine is an amplified version of the 2002 Cabernet. It has a rich nose of roasted coffee, sweet bay leaf, and mocha leading to flavors of ripe back currant, black cherries, licorice, earth, and well-integrated oak. In the mouth, the wine is viscous and lush, with a blockbuster finish that lasts for close to a minute. 75 cases made. Drink 2006-2014.
