Mass Energy Consumers Alliance is a non-profit organization located in Jamaica Plain. Since 1983 Mass Energy has been serving members with discounted heating oil and green power options. Mass Energy is donating one, ½ priced delivery of 150-250 gallons of Bio-Heat as well as a free membership to Mass Energy ( regulary $15). Bio-Heat is a blend of 10% Refined Soybean oil and 90% low sulfur heating oil. Bio-Heat is better for the environment- burning fewer pollutants and improving indoor air quality. It's better for the local economy- keeping energy dollars in America. Bio-Heat is also better for your heating system- causing less corrosion and maintenance issues. Bio-heat can be used in any oil burner without changes to the system and can be mixed with regular oil already in the tank.
