Description
Experience the thrill of open cockpit flying in a fully restored 2-seat museum quality 1942 Boeing Stearman. Flight will depart from Portage County Airport in Ravenna, Ohio. Take a 20 minute tour of the local area and then return to the departure airport. The Stearman is also known as a PT-17 and was used as the primary trainer for the Army and Navy during the 1940's.
Special Instructions
Weight--Seat belt and shoulder harnesses must fit over occupant and be able to be secured snuggly. Weight=90 lbs min. and 250 lbs max. Height=4'6" min. and 6' 4" max. Availability contingent upon pilot availability and weather. Occupant must be at least 16 years of age and a US citizen. Most flights take place early Sunday mornings and early evening weekdays.
