Description
Two people can join the Thoreau Society Staff and several other campers for our August 2006 Expedition to Baxter State Park (Maine)with this special package.
The exact date will be known in April, but for right now we do know that it will be for August 10-13 or 17-20.
We are staying near the North Gate, in the Grand Lake Matagamon area of the park.
The winner will receive a camping space for 4 nights (Thursday - Sunday), all delicious meals all prepared on site for you, trail snacks, fun filled evenings by the fire, and special programs. There are always as many or as few hikes as you want to do, swimming, nature walks, or just curling up with a great book.
Special Instructions
Winners are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the Campsite, camping gear and any food or beverages not included in the package.
The Thoreau Society cannot predict the weather, and is not responsible for any cancellations due to extreme conditions.
