Up for auction are 2 piano lessons (30 minutes each) with professional musician, Tom Truchan.

Aside from being Maxwell Ghanizadeh's grandpa, Tom is fairly famous in Marin County after having taught at San Rafael High for 26+ years. He has played and taught music for even longer than that and was a concert string bassist with Oakland Symphony. Tom teaches all levels of piano out of his home studio in San Anselmo and has donated 2 lessons to our auction. Perfect for a beginner or continuing piano student looking for the right teacher. Tom's lesson plans are well thought out, build on the skills learned at previous lessons, are clear and above all...FUN. He customizes the materials to be played to the student (a.k.a. a 10 year old boy might like to learn to play the Star Wars theme) and is positive and encouraging.
