A week of fun at Murray Camp of Nantucket, an island tradition! A private licensed day camp, based at the Nantucket New School on Nobadeer Farm Road, the camp was established in 1989 and provides youngsters ages four through thirteen with the opportunity to experience social, academic and physical enrichment. Numerous activities are planned for the three age groups: Juniors, Intermediate and Seniors.

"Juniors and Intermediates" enjoy instruction in Red Cross swimming, windsurfing, arts and crafts, yoga, sailing and more. On rainy days, campers head off for excursions and host special visitors. "Seniors" are in their own activities that include gym, field sports, tennis, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, yoga, ice skating, supporting town organizations and environmental projects.

Murray Camp recognizes that children have preferred styles of learning and respect and appreciate the theory of multiple intelligence. The camp has designed a curriculum to ensure that children, whether their learning preference be verbal, visual or physical, all have the opportunity to become enriched in a holistic camp experience.
