Massachusetts Senator John F. Kerry has donated U.S. Flag that has flown proudly over our nation's Capitol and
autographed copy of United States Senate Catalogue of Fine Art.
The American flag, measuring 3 feet by 5 feet, was flown over the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. and includes a Certificate of Authenticity from the Architect of the Capitol.
The Catalogue of Senate Fine Art is a beautiful, hardcover coffee table book, signed by Senator John Kerry. Co-written by art historian William Kloss and Senate Curator Diane Skvarla, the Catalogue provides previously unpublished information on 160 paintings and sculptures in the U.S. Senate, including works by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, Hiram Powers, Daniel Chester French, Charles Wilson Peale, Gilbert Stuart, Walker Hancock, and Alexander Calder. Each work of art is illustrated with full-page color photograph, accompanied by an essay and secondary images that place work in historical and aesthetic context.
