Inca Dreams is a stoneware sculpture on a stone base created by Lindsey in 2005 and measuring 12" x 12" x 14''. Lindsey is a member of the Seward Ceramics Group. Her fascination with the ancient culture of Native Americans inspired this work. Reminiscent of temples to the sun god, erected from Mexico to Peru, this piece alludes to the services and celebrations within its warm sun baked walls. Lindsey received a BFA with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and has been included in numerous group shows since then. She won the Best in Show award at the 1997 Washington Potters Association show.
