Enjoy this fabulous 24 x 30, unframed, modern oil on canvas by esteemed artist Carolyn Joe. Carolyn earned her BA from Wake Forest in 2001. She has had extensive curatorial experience in Australia and abroad. Much of her artwork reflects travel and often whimsical day-dreamy scenes she believes to be somewhere in Italy, France and Spain. Ms. Joe has also created curriculum and taught surveys in sculpture, architecture, painting and American art at a Christian classical school. Teaching was an incredible experience for her, and she loved sharing and encouraging, creating, & appreciating art with her students. She left teaching to pursue another kind of art, and is currently attending the Texas Culinary Academy's Le Cordon Bleu culinary arts program in Austin, Texas. She has also worked in jewelry design, helping to create a line of jewelry for Elle Magazine and a well known rap artist.
