This stunning Acrylic Oil Hand Painting was created by artist Mona Barsy on hand-made Egyptian Papyrus. The scene is from the "Book of the Dead" in 2700 B.C. Left to Right- Final Judgement in the Hall of Osiris. The heart of the deceased is weighed on a scale against the ostrich feather of Ma'at; he then answers to each deed as read out by Thoth from the "Book of Knowledge." Upper scene- Escorted by Horus, Osiris commands the deceased to kneel before a jury of forty-two gods,who, in turn, pronounce the deceased "True of Word and Worthy of Eternal Life."
