After a morning activity, fly on in anticipation of the big game at>Savute Elephant Camp, one of the Top 500 hotels in the World according to Travel & Leisure Magazine. Four wheel drive vehicles will take you to herds of impala, zebra and wilderbeest and within close proximity of the big cats and elephant that reign supreme in Savute.
International Airfare-Your South African Airways airfare will be coordinated through African Travel, Inc. This package includes round-trip coach class airfare from either Atlanta, Washington DC or New York to Johannesburg. Domestic round-trip coach class flights between Johannesburg and Maun are also included as are the light aircraft flights between Maun and three Orient-Express camps.
Domestic Airfare
American Airlines-This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from any American Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States to anywhere American Airlines flies in the 48 contiguous United States subject to availability. The winning bidders can upgrade their coach class airfare to first class for $750 per person subject to availability. Note: On three class flights upgrade is to business class. A minimum of 14 days advance booking is required as is a Saturday night stay. The winning bidders will be able to earn AAdvantage miles in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Miles cannot be utilized to upgrade these coach class certificates to a higher level of service. The certificates will have a one-year expiration date from the date issued and all reservations are subject to availability.
Your flights are valid through May 31, 2006 and from August 21, 2006 through December 8, 2006 and from December 24, 2006 through March 31, 2007. The winning bidder can travel during the time-period of June 1, 2006 through August 20, 2006 or December 9, 2006 through December 23, 2006 for an additional fee of $500 per person. Reservations must be made at least 21 days prior to departure and all flights are subject to availability. A Saturday stay is required and there is a maximum stay of 90 days. The winning bidder is responsible for all airline taxes, security fees, fuel surcharges or other taxes/fees in excess of the base price.
All reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates and holiday restrictions if imposed by the respective property apply.
Note: The arrival/departure gates for American Airlines and departure/arrival gates for South African Airways are in different terminals and the airlines do not have shared baggage relationships. The winning bidder will need to claim their baggage and recheck when they switch airlines.
Ground Transportation-This package includes round-trip ground transportation between the airport in Johannesburg and The Westcliff and between the regional airports and three Orient-Express camps.
Note:The winning bidder can extend the expiration date from March 31, 2007 to July 30, 2007 for an additional $2,000 per package.
