Description

A set of six beautiful and exquisitely-detailed fine bone china plates by artist Arthur Singer. Each plate depicts one of six gorgeous birds exploring the inner workings of a flower with possible pollination in mind. Each plate rim is banded with dark green and edged with gold on both sides. The plates were crafted in 1977 by Wedgwood for Franklin Porcelain and is part of their limited edition "Songbirds of the World" collection--an official issue of the National Audubon Society. Larger than standard dinner plates, each plate measures 11.75" in diameter and is heavier than you'd expect. You'll find the set in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches; fully marked on the back and signed by the artist on the front. A real prize for anyone who appreciates wild birds in their natural habitat--you'll be pleased with this wonderful set!

Special Instructions

There are six plates that depict the Wood Thrush, European Goldfinch, Bluethroat, Western Bluebird, Cedar Waxwing and Magnolia Warbler (shown in photo).
