What happens on a Formidable harbor tour?


You'll leave the dock and set sail. Courtesy ice water and cookies are always available. Our guests walk along the rails, looking out over beautiful Boston Harbor, or they can go below to our main salon, and enjoy our museum displays.

Each sail features a particular presentation, relating to our museum displays in the salon.

Your voyage on Formidable will be a unique and historic delight. You and your group will always remember your sail on a traditional square-rigged vessel, enjoying beautiful Boston Harbor.

Please bring sun block, a hat, comfortable shoes, and a sweater to ward off the cold, even on summer days.

In summer 2006 we'll be leaving at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM for our available harbor sails.

You may also hold your tickets for a sail date in 2007, subject to availability. Sail season usually begins on or about June 1.
