Our blanket is custom made with individual pockets allowing pressure to be evenly distributed over the body.

The weight of the blanket provides a calming deep pressure relaxation. The weights are constructed of cotton packets filled with field corn. Allow .5 minutes/per lb in your microwave to heat the blanket, providing additional soothing warmth, along with the comforting weight of the blanket.

Blanket weights will vary depending on body weight.

Total Blanket weight is suggested to be approx. 10% of the person's body weight.

Blanket weight may be changed by altering the pockets of weighted material to raise or lower the weight of the blanket

This blanket is 40" wide by 70" long. The weight set is selectable at one of the following: 7.5lbs, 15lbs, or 22.5 lbs. The blanket itself weighs approx 4 lbs due to the sturdy construction required to hold the weights. Our blankets may be heated in the Microwave providing a radiating warmth.

The blanket is machine washable by removing the packets of weighted material

Weights may be customized by adjusting the weights in individual pockets. For instance ... weight may be set in a checkerboard pattern for a 1/2 weighted blanket for one child, and fully loaded for another. This would allow OTs to set the blanket weights for different children they work with. Weights may be placed over different areas of the body to achieve the perfect comfort level in your blanket. This not only allows you to have the overall weight you desire, but to alter the weight over different areas of the body, as you find your perfect comfort level.
