Bonfante Gardens includes rides, attractions, theme gardens, food concessions, an event plaza, and some very unusual trees. Nineteen one-of-a-kind Circus Trees, most more than 50 years old, were rescued from the Tree Circus in Scotts Valley to become a main attraction at Bonfante Gardens.
Rides and attractions include:
-Monarch Garden - in a greenhouse so large that a train, a monorail, and a river runs through it!
-The "Quicksilver Express" mine coaster.
-A boat ride through gardens of annual color.
-An antique car ride where you travel through the "back roads" of South County in cars from the 1920's or 1950's.
New in 2005: Bonfante's Splash GardenTM
Bonfante's Splash GardenTM is a fun-filled water play area that gives kids of all ages a place to cool off in the hot summer sun. Kids can climb up a replicated Circus Tree, play on a water-soaked teeter-totter, spin water wheels, tip over buckets of water, splash around in a bubbling fun zone and more! Set in the center of the water playground is the towering Tree Top SpraygroundTM.
