Description
This stunning painting in acrylics is 24" x 24" including frame and was featured in the Santa Cruz Art League Show 75th Annual Statewide Exhibit
That empty spot of wall in the living room has got to go. And we have the perfect piece for it! This painting was selected for the Statewide Annual Exhibit of California, and it's easy to see why. An intimate portrait of a pale rose, it conveys delicate beauty with abstract subtlety. Artist Sharon Von Ibsch resides in Santa Cruz, California and is a self-taught painter. A few of her words about her floral pieces: "With flowers I tend to paint a very close up view of them at different angles than are not normally seen. So much of the time we don't get to see such things of beauty so up close, and off kilter. I like exposing the mechanics of the flower as well. Such as, how it is attached to the stem, the veins in the petals, and how sunlight, shadow and the other petals will change the color and the way another flower petal looks."
