After completing her BA degree at Bowdoin College, Melissa began working at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC where her interest in integrative medicine began.  She returned to Maine to receive her massage training at the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro.  She particularly enjoys working with people for whom stress has physical manifestations and whose occupations and recreational activities create challenges for their physical well being.
