BSO Associate Conductor Andrew Constantine kicks off the BSO's Summer Hit Parade with music by Baroque master J.S. Bach and his contemporaries. The timeless Pachelbel's Canon is paired with Handel's Royal Fireworks (without the explosives) and BSO musicians Peter Minkler and Christian Colberg are featured soloists in Telemann's Concerto for Two Violas. The program ends with three of Bach's most beloved compositions arranged for full orchestra.

Giancarlo Guerrero leads the BSO in this evening of romance and passion. With its unforgettable lush and robust themes, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 featuring 17 year old pianist Natasha Paremski opens the concert. The second half features Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony which explores the depths of human emotion -- sadness, joy and destiny. So join the crowds for an evening of some of the most powerful music ever written.
July 21 -- CLASSICAL HIT PARADE: MOZART'S HOTTEST HITS

Mozart: Magic Flute Overture
Mozart: Violin Concerto No. 3
Mozart: Symphony No. 41 "Jupiter"

Bring Mozart's 250th birthday celebration to a close with some of his favorite works! The first half of the program will feature the ever-popular Eine kleine Nachtmusik and award-winning violinist Soovin Kim takes the stage to perform Mozart's 3rd Violin Concerto, one of five concertos the composer wrote when he was only 19 years old. Complete the birthday celebration with Mozart's final symphony, his majestic "Jupiter" in the second half.
