Description
This 1906 Reprint of the City of Wilkes-Barre's Centennial logo is a must have for area collectors. There were only 50 reprints created and this is the 39th one of the series.
In 1906 the centennial planning committee developed a wonderful logo encompassing the rich history of the area. It featured the beehive -- long-time symbol of the industrious nature of the county seat -- and the outline of a diamond, symbolizing Public Square.
With the city now celebrating its' 200th anniversary of incorporation, this reprint of the 1906 logo will truly be a treasured collector's item.
