Description

Cat Screen by Pamela Conway Caruso. Just what is a "cat screen"?It is a piece of art. In form, the screen is designed to stand in front of a litterbox to create a separation between your living space and their business space (hence the name). It can be used anywhere you like, though. Two other places we've thought of are as a fireplace decoration (they are NOT fireproof however) or hanging on the wall as a more traditional piece of art. Each screen is constructed of three pieces of 3/8" plywood. The pieces are hinged together to allow the screen to stand on its own.

Pamela is a native of New Orleans with a BS in Advertising Design. Her illustrations and prints have been shown in the Smithsonian Institutions Traveling Exhibition in the 80's as well as World Trade Center of New Orleans exhibits and Gulf Coast galleries. Her current body of work employs a variety of print making. Pamela has also been an instructor at a variety of local schools including the New Orleans School of Glassworks & Printmaking and at the New Orleans Museum of Art. She describes herself as having a "passionate love of dogs, combined with a concern about pet overpopulation and the number of unwanted strays."
