Special Instructions

Allendale Engine House No. 5 has had two lives. It was built in Grand Rapids MI in 1885. Almost 100 years later, it was sold for $1, taken apart (despite its 24-and 18-inch walls), moved to Allendale MI and reassembled for use as a museum. It is said that during the moving project, workers found a hidden "recreation room" created during the Prohibition era.

If not picked up at NAICCO on scheduled pick-up time, bidder is responsible for Shipping and Handling fee, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via UPS and billed at standard industry rates.
