Dr. David T. Mininberg, medical consultant to the Met's current exhibition "The Art of Medicine in Ancient Egypt", will take a group of 10-15 guests on a private tour of the Egyptian and Byzantine Galleries. The tour will show how illness and medical treatment are reflected in the art of these cultures.
Dr. Mininberg is a New York City physician who also holds a Master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies and is a contributor to the catalog "The Art of Medicine in Ancient Egypt".
