Spend a weekend in the beautiful Adironacks. Nestled in the mountains just a few hours drive from Wilmington and Philadelphia is The Lake Placid Lodge. The cabins are private log and timber cottages, and are located a short walk under a covered walkway from the Main Lodge. A map of the grounds, showing the locations of each of the cabins, is now available online. Built in the 1920's at or near the water's edge, these cabins have all been beautifully renovated to include king or queen-size featherbeds, large stone fireplaces, sitting areas, elegant rustic furnishings and wet bars. All have luxurious bathrooms, with huge soaking tubs with roomy separate showers. Huge picture windows reveal breathtaking lake and mountain vistas.
