"Caminos II" by Eugenio Cohaila is on display in the Upstairs Hall of Design Home 2006. This soft, yet striking abstract image makes abstract painting look simple. Yet, Cohaila has worked for many years to hone his craft. Born in Tacna, Peru and not yet 30 years old, Cohaila is considered by his contemporaries to have exquisite promise as an artist. He graduated from the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Tacna and the Escuela de Bellas Artes del Peru in Lima. He has won numerous prizes and honors.
