This piece comes from the photo of an extraordinary event on November 4, 1991, the occasion of then all five living former Presidents of the United States meeting together at the opening of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Presidents Ford, Nixon, Bush, Reagan and Carter also have their authentic autographs reproduced and engraved on this collectible item, along with exterior photos of the Capitol and White House.  A patch of the Presidential Seal is also included.

There have been only three periods of time in American history in which there have been five living ex-Presidents.  This photo represents the 2nd such occasion. 

Between the end of George Bush Sr.'s term of office on January 20, 1993 and the death of Richard Nixon on April 22, 1994, three other ex-Presidents - Ford, Carter and Reagan - were still alive.  This was also incidentally the only period in history during which there were six living former Vice-Presidents of the United States.
